I'm going out to the stores in a few minutes. Going to buy me a pair of Nike sneakers, Skinny leg jeans and some shirts first, then check out the sales and start buying Christmas gifts so I don't procrastinate until Christmas Eve like last year. Hehe.

My father installed Windows 7 on the Simming computer. Without even letting me know.

Does anyone know if the files are erased when you do that? Because I was making progress, and he kinda sorta screwed up my plans. And if I can't recover anything, I'm going to take more and more time to do it over again.

I ran into a problem today with the rebuild. I needed to kill off Cindy and Trevor since I needed to move on in the rebuild, but whenever I killed them, their gravestones were both Family, and Trevor is Knowledge.

Does anyone know about this?

I've been meaning to get this set up for the LONGEST time. So here it is-- while you're waiting for an update, some simmies to put in yar game. This is crossposted in Dreamwidth, and most of my stuff is going to start going there. :)

Hello everyone. Damn, it's been forever since I posted on this.

I'd like to let everyone know that I've started reinstalling all of my Sims 2 Games. I'm really excited to get back to playing: I haven't played in months, so I'm not going to hop right back into the legacy. Instead I'm just going to make a family and play for a few days to distract myself from my NaNoWriMo (also taking up my month, very fun though) and so I can get back into the gist of playing.

I also need to redownload all of my custom content. So yeah... Advice? Good finds? Help? I think I'm going to be changing my defaults to Leh's skins. And I also really like Di's so I might try those also.

It's rather chilly here and I've got a five day weekend here home alone. Talk to me. How's everyone doing?

Hey Guys. Just checking into to see how everyone's doing.

Life has been pretty hectic during the past few weeks. School started and the rush of meeting friends again and doing tons of homework was pretty weird to me. It almost felt like there was no summer at all. I was really happy to see my friends again, and I've made tons of new friends since we got a lot of new students (due to the popularity of the Academy of Finance department we have in our school).

My teachers are all fantastic. My English teacher is hilarious-- he can make a joke out of anything and everything, but he's also brilliant. My Geometry teacher is also funny, and she makes everything seem so easy in Math. My science teacher has ADD and she's bipolar, but we've done a lot of fun stuff in her class during the first week. We put goldfish in freezing cold water and calculated the difference in their heart rates and we also put alka-seltzer into beakers with vinegar in halves, quarters, and completely grinded form and watched them fizz. My Italian class is nothing special, as is my Chorus class, but Art is so much fun. I have a picture of my first sketchbook assignment here:

I'm also in Model UN which is a Morning class. It was hard to get used to it because Me =/= Morning Person. It takes a while to getting used to dealing with a lot of things to do and work that needs to be done. I should be getting a job pretty soon and the club fair is this Friday which means that I'm going to be tempted and fail to fight the urge to sign up for 5238472384778 clubs. I probably shouldn't go, LOL. I'm also getting a new Mac this coming Friday, so yay for that.

Anyway, how has everyone been? =D
 

Hello there.

It's been a few weeks since I last played Sims 2, and I guess it's safe to say that there's a good chance that I might not be getting back to my legacy at all. I'm really sad. I was having a lot of fun writing it, and the problem that came up was so random and unexpected that it made it much harder to deal with. I was in the process of a rebuild, and I was getting ready to play all of my cool little Generation Four kids, which was going to be so much fun to play. [sigh] I think I'll show some pictures of them later.

I haven't yet made a post about the problem with kernel32.dll on BoolProp, so maybe the people there can help me out, but if not, then I doubt that I'll be able to do much with the story. I can't use CAS, Bodyshop, the Wardrobe Adjuster, etc. So there's probably no way that I can do it anymore. I'll try to find the root of the problem, but if I can't, well, then, no more story. It's as simple as that.

If anyone knows anything else about what I can do to fix it, please let me know-- I'm really dying to know. Thanks in advance.

No, silly, not of corn. A kernel called kernel32.dll.

This probably sounds silly, especially to those of you who are more techie-savvy than I (which is probably most of you) but I think that I may need to replace kernel32.dll. I really don't believe that M&G would suddenly screw up, and as I've tried everything, I want to know if anyone knows how to replace the kernel32.dll file? I feel that I need to give it a try.

I have a bit of a problem.

I wanted to use CAS to create a sim, and the Wardrobe Adjuster to buy clothes, and the game just crashed. I tried again and it crashed as well. I've done everything: Pulled Downloads, SavedSims, tried it on other lots and neighborhoods and still, no progress. I looked into the error files, and all I know is that it has something to do with Kernel32.dll and the Mansion & Garden Stuff .exe file.

Help? I kinda want to get back to the rebuild that I'm doing. =(
